POLICE ARE MOBILE IN RYDE

Isle of Wight police officers are in Ryde, this week, in a bid to encourage locals to join Neighbourhood Watch.  A mobile police station will be at the following locations:

On 19 November: Jellicoe Road (10am – 12pm) and Mary Rose Avenue, Wootton (2.30– 4.30pm). 

HUNDREDS SAIL OUT FOR COD COMPETITION

1919 November 2008 - Two hundred competitors are expected to brave the English Channel, 10 miles south of The Needles and Yarmouth, for the annual National Cod Fishing Championships.
